Southeastern Behavioral Services relocated to Colorado almost two years ago and has undergone a name change: ABA Services of Colorado.  It is my goal to make quality behavioral services available to the people of Colorado and Wyoming at affordable rates.  There are many things to consider when seeking treatment providers for your loved ones with autism or related disabilities.  Applied Behavior Analysis has a proven record of success that is supported by experimental data.

COLORADO AUTISM BILL 

On June 3, 2009, Governor Bill Ritter, Jr., signed into law Senate Bill 09-244, requiring insurance companies to provide coverage for the treatment of autism. Colorado is the twelfth state to "pass autism insurance reform."

This law, which went into effect July 1, 2010, "requires health benefit plans to provide coverage for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders." Applied behavior analysis treatment is covered under this new law for a maximum benefit of $34,000 per year for children ages birth through 8 years and $12,000 per year for children ages 9 through 18 years of age.
